Suwon Urban Development Corporation Launches 'Year of Suwon Visit' SNS Event from the 9th

The event, themed on 'Spreading Hidden Charms Throughout Global Tourist City Suwon,' will be conducted in the format of initial consonant quizzes.

'2026 marks the 230th anniversary of the construction of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, and 2027 marks the 30th anniversary of UNESCO World Heritage inscription! For this special year, SUWON FOR YOU, we are promoting 2026~2027 [ㅅㅇㅂㅁㅇㅎ] to create a global tourist city of Suwon that currently attracts 15 million tourists' - participants must identify the word represented by the initial consonants 'ㅅㅇㅂㅁㅇㅎ' in this sentence.

Participation is available through the corporation's SNS platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Blog, and KakaoTalk until the 19th.

Winners will be announced on the 23rd of this month, with 100 people selected to receive coffee coupons.

President Lee Young-in stated, "We have prepared this SNS event to commemorate the Year of Suwon Visit, which is a representative tourist destination in the Seoul Metropolitan Area," and added, "We hope that with many citizens' participation in the event, Suwon and Suwon Hwaseong Fortress will become more widely known."
