Namyangju City Official Blog Selected as Naver 'Mate' for July

'Naver Mate' is a program newly launched by Naver last month that selects creators with subject-specific expertise, differentiation, and diversity across Naver's user-generated content (UGC) services including blogs, cafes, and Naver Knowledge iN.

The Namyangju City official blog recorded 1.52 million accumulated citations in the first half of this year and was selected as the social category Naver Mate in recognition of its credibility and expertise.

In particular, the social field is a category that includes policy and lifestyle information content, which holds added significance in providing public information that helps users in their everyday lives.

Won Kyung-hee, the city's public relations officer, said, "This selection as a Naver Mate is the result of efforts by the Namyangju City official blog to fulfill citizens' right to information in accordance with the changing digital era," and added, "Going forward, we will provide information needed by citizens swiftly and accurately while strengthening our online communication capabilities."
