'Ballet, Walking Through Time'...Suwon Ballet Festival Held on September 12

Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-joon) will hold the "2026 Suwon Ballet Festival" on September 12 at 7 p.m. at the SK Atrium Grand Concert Hall in Suwon.

Under the theme of "Ballet, Walking Through Time - Ballet in Suwon," this year's ballet festival will allow audiences to appreciate the flow of ballet from classical to contemporary performances with commentary. There will also be time for audiences to follow along with ballet mime movements.

The National Ballet Company, Suwon City Ballet Company, Incheon City Ballet Company, and Aham Art Project will participate, showcasing classical and contemporary ballet performances. Announcer Oh Jung-yeon will serve as the host. Reservations can be made through Saebit Talk-Talk's "2026 Suwon Ballet Festival Advance Reservation Guide." Applications can be made for up to 4 tickets per person on a first-come, first-served basis.

A Suwon City official stated, "We have prepared the festival so that citizens can easily enjoy ballet with added commentary and experience," and added, "We hope this festival becomes an opportunity for people to become familiar with ballet and have a broad experience of culture and arts."
