Suwon Office of Education Meets with Retiring and Newly Appointed Principals to Discuss Educational Support System

The Suwon Office of Education (Director of Education Kim Hye-ri) held a meeting with retiring and newly appointed principals on the 2nd at the director's office.

The meeting was organized to welcome principals who are beginning a new chapter as part of the Suwon educational family and to strengthen an education support system based on communication and collaboration by listening to the voices of school sites.

The event proceeded in the following order: △welcoming remarks by the director of education and introduction of attendees △sharing of major educational issues and vision for Suwon education △open discussion and opinion gathering for school site support. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on various educational issues including customized curriculum operations reflecting regional characteristics, creation of student-centered safe school environments, and preparation of foundations for future education.

Director of Education Kim Hye-ri said, "I sincerely welcome the principals and kindergarten directors who are becoming new members of the Suwon education family," adding, "The Office of Education will continue to provide generous support and communication to enable school sites to build happy educational communities based on autonomy."

A newly appointed principal who attended the meeting shared, "It was a meaningful occasion to understand the direction of Suwon education and share the concerns of each school," and said, "I will do my best to create happy schools by prioritizing students' growth."

The Suwon Office of Education plans to continue promoting field-oriented educational administration to actively support an environment where schools can focus on educational activities.
