2026 Suwon Youth Career Expo Concludes Successfully

The Suwon City Youth and Young Adults Foundation(Chairman Choi Jong-jin) Youth Hope Lighthouse announced that on the 11th, it successfully concluded the '2026 Suwon Youth Career Expo' for approximately 2,200 middle school students in Suwon.

Marking its 14th edition this year, this expo was jointly organized by Suwon City, Gyeonggi Province Suwon Office of Education, and the Suwon City Youth and Young Adults Foundation under the theme of 'Building the Future with AI, JOB it!'.

The event provided various hands-on experiences and career programs to allow youth to directly experience the rapidly changing future society and diverse occupational world, and to explore career paths suited to their interests and aptitudes while designing their futures.

In addition, 85 career experience booths in various fields were operated, and thematic experience spaces were created including Young CEO Zone, Job Career Zone, Doctor Dream Zone, Taste ZIP Zone, and Young CEO Zone in partnership with the Suwon Young Merchants Association, allowing youth to easily and enjoyably explore careers according to their interests of interest. Experts and professionals from each field participated, presenting hands-on programs that went beyond simply providing job information to enable students to indirectly experience actual job sites.

An official from the Suwon City Youth and Young Adults Foundation said, "More important than deciding on a career is the process where youth discover what they like and do well through various experiences," and added, "We hope that this expo in particular has been an opportunity for all youth to discover their potential and freely imagine their futures."
