Korea Rehabilitation Bureau Gyeonggi South Branch Launches 'Integrity and Awareness Campaign' at Byeongjeom Station

The Korea Rehabilitation Bureau Gyeonggi South Branch (Branch Director Yang Sung-sik) conducted a campaign on the 11th around Byeongjeom Station with the Doeham+ Youth Committee (Chair Lee Jeong-hyo) targeting citizens to improve awareness of rehabilitation protection projects and spread integrity culture.

The Doeham+ Youth Committee is a volunteer organization of the Bureau's Gyeonggi South Branch composed of university students who have united their efforts to prevent recidivism and create a safe society through supporting the social reintegration of ex-offenders and other rehabilitation protection beneficiaries.

The campaign was organized to publicize the Bureau's role in supporting the stable social reintegration of ex-offenders and other rehabilitation protection beneficiaries, and to increase citizens' understanding and interest in rehabilitation protection projects.

Volunteers confirmed citizens' awareness of rehabilitation protection projects through surveys and distribution of promotional posters and conveyed related information. Additionally, they distributed promotional items such as otter-shaped figurines and ballpoint pens symbolizing help and cooperation, drawing citizens' interest.

In particular, this campaign strengthened the significance of promoting awareness of rehabilitation protection projects and spreading integrity culture in the local community by simultaneously conducting an integrity campaign that publicizes the value of integrity and the importance of fostering a fair social culture.

The Gyeonggi South Branch plans to continue various crime prevention activities including campaigns to spread integrity culture and create a safe local community.
