Gyeonggi Province Agricultural Products and Livestock Products Promotion Agency Offering 30% Discount on Chuseok Agricultural Specialties at Goyang, Seongnam, and Suwon Gyeonggi Agro-Food Centers

Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Province Agricultural Products and Livestock Products Promotion Agency will hold a 'Chuseok Special Promotion Event' at the Gyeonggi Agro-Food Centers within Nonghyup Hanaro Marts in Goyang, Seongnam, and Suwon for three days starting from the 16th through the 18th.

During the event period, the Gyeonggi Agro-Food Centers will sell certified premium agricultural specialties from Gyeonggi Province, including pears, grapes, and apples, at discounts of approximately 30%.

On the 16th at 2 p.m. at the Goyang location, the 17th at 3 p.m. at the Seongnam location, and the 18th at 2 p.m. at the Suwon location, first-come, first-served discount events featuring seasonal fruits specialized by each location will be held. Provincial legislators including Seo Kwang-beom, chairperson of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Committee on Agriculture, Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Vice Speaker Go Eun-jeong, and council members Choi Man-sik and Park Ok-bun will participate in the daily promotion events.

Choi Chang-soo, director of the Gyeonggi Province Agricultural Products and Livestock Products Promotion Agency, said, "We have prepared this special event to reduce the burden of holiday shopping and increase income for local farmers," and added, "We hope for your continued interest in the event so that Chuseok becomes a happy holiday for both Gyeonggi Province farmers and residents."
