Gyeonggi Province Office of Education Announces 383 Final Passing Candidates for Local Civil Service Recruitment Exam

The Gyeonggi Province Office of Education (Education Superintendent An Min-seok) announced on the 15th the final list of successful candidates for the "2026 Second Gyeonggi Province Office of Education Local Civil Service Recruitment Exam" that will lead Gyeonggi education's major transformation.

A total of 383 candidates passed the final examination, with passing numbers by the 7 recruitment categories as follows: △Educational Administration 305 candidates △Computer/IT 34 candidates △Engineering 15 candidates (General Mechanical 5, General Electrical 10) △Health 3 candidates △Food Sanitation 11 candidates △Facilities 14 candidates (Architecture) △Records and Research 1 candidate.

The age distribution of final passers showed those in their 20s were the largest group at 65% (249 people), followed by those in their 30s at 27.4% (105 people), those 40 and older at 7.1% (27 people), and those in their teens at 0.5% (2 people). The average age of passers was 29 years old, with the youngest candidate being 18 years old and the oldest being 51 years old.

According to the employment candidate registration notice, final passers must personally visit and register. Test takers from the Uijeongbu area can register on the 21st, while those from the Suwon area can register on the 22nd-23rd by visiting designated locations with their identification and registration documents.

Those without grounds for disqualification from employment will be sequentially appointed after completing basic training for employment candidates starting in November.

The Gyeonggi Province Office of Education expects the successful candidates to grow as talented individuals who will provide strong support to educational sites based on their sense of responsibility and expertise as civil servants, and will jointly shape the future of Gyeonggi education.
