Hwaseong Special City's Byeongjeom-gu Holds 'Concert of Everyone's Happiness' with Cheers from 15,000 Citizens

Hwaseong Special City's Byeongjeom-gu held the '2026 Byeongjeom-gu Concert of Everyone's Happiness' at Jeongjohyo Park on the 19th, communicating and harmonizing with approximately 15,000 citizens through music.

The concert was organized to provide residents of Byeongjeom-gu, which launched in February with a new four-district system, with opportunities to enjoy cultural performances close to their daily lives and to create a venue where residents communicate and harmonize through music.

The event began with preliminary performances followed by the full concert. A diverse range of performances was showcased by artists including Jang Yun-jung and Coyote, Wyna, Han-eum Ensemble, and pop-opera singer Kim A-reum. Audiences enjoyed the performances, singing along to familiar songs and showing enthusiastic applause and cheers.

In particular, a variety of performances spanning pop-opera, idol, dance, and trot that appeal to different generations were presented in one venue, creating a venue of harmony where people of all ages could enjoy together.

Mayor Jung Myung-geun of Hwaseong Special City, who attended the event, said, "Cultural and arts are valuable mediums that add vitality to citizens' daily lives and naturally connect regions and generations," adding, "I hope this concert was a meaningful time for citizens to become one through music and share each other's happiness."

District Chief Lee Taek-gu of Byeongjeom-gu said, "I am grateful that many residents participated in this concert," and added, "By listening to the voices of residents, we will organize diverse cultural events where people can enjoy and communicate in their daily lives, creating a vibrant Byeongjeom-gu."

The 'Happiness Photo Zone' set up at the venue also received great response from citizens. Families, friends, and couples took photos at the photo zone, personally documenting and creating memories of this happy moment.
