Gwangmyeong Women's Vision Center Records 94% Certification Acquisition Rate Across 27 Training Programs

The Gwangmyeong Women's Vision Center, under Mayor Park Seung-won, is demonstrating positive results through practical skills training necessary for certification acquisition and employment and entrepreneurship.

The Gwangmyeong Women's Vision Center announced on the 21st that among 27 certification programs operated in the first half of 2026, 301 out of 320 graduates acquired certifications, achieving a 94% acquisition rate.

Particularly notable achievements were seen in the national technical certification programs. The Korean Cuisine Culinary Technician course recorded a 91% certification acquisition rate with 10 out of 11 graduates obtaining certification, while the evening Korean Cuisine Culinary Technician course showed 88% and the Western Cuisine Culinary Technician course showed 75%.

According to the Human Resources Development Service of Korea's Q-Net, the average pass rate for the 2025 Korean Cuisine Culinary Technician practical examination was 36.7%. The Women's Vision Center's Korean Cuisine Culinary Technician course achieved a 91% certification acquisition rate based on graduates, surpassing the national average practical examination pass rate.

Success continued in the Florist (Floral Design Specialist) certification program, which was operated for the first time this year. All six trainees who took the Floral Design Technician certification examination passed.

The Women's Vision Center operates certification programs across diverse fields including accounting and office work, computers, culinary arts, beauty, baking, barista, organizing and storage, elderly counseling, and floristry (floral design specialist), while also supporting competency enhancement necessary for reemployment and entrepreneurship.
