Gyeonggi Province Menstrual Product Online Mall for Young Women, Autumn Gift Event
Gyeonggi Company will conduct a gift giveaway event for customers of the Gyeonggi Province menstrual product online shopping mall for young women until October 31st.
The Gyeonggi Province menstrual product online shopping mall for young women is a dedicated shopping platform that allows female teenagers aged 11-18 to use menstrual product vouchers online. Through non-face-to-face purchases, the mall reduces the inconvenience of in-person visits and psychological discomfort that may occur during face-to-face transactions, while improving policy utilization convenience through free shipping and other benefits. Last year, the mall recorded 45,000 registered members and cumulative transaction volume of approximately 5.5 billion won.
Since September 15th, payment with Siheung City's local currency 'Siru' for menstrual product policy vouchers for young women has become available on the online mall. As a result, a system has been established allowing all 27 cities and counties participating in Gyeonggi Province's universal menstrual product support project for young women to use the online mall.
Gift items consist of basic cosmetics, sunscreen, sanitary pads, panty liners, and pouches, and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis according to purchase amount until gifts are exhausted, without requiring separate applications or product selection.
In Gimpo, Ansan, and Gwangju, where online mall usage rates are relatively low, an additional event for first-time customers is also being held. Membership with no previous purchase history automatically participates when members use the online mall during the event period and leave verification comments on the event page. A total of 600 people selected through a lottery will receive 10,000 won gift certificates from Olive Young.
Tak Jung-sam, head of Gyeonggi Company, said, "We hope young women can purchase necessary menstrual products from the online mall with various benefits," and "We will continue to develop diverse measures to increase user convenience and choice in the future."
