Osan City Launches 'Small Business Open Up! 10,000 Won Pay!' Benefit for 1,000 Recipients

Osan City (Mayor Jo Yong-ho) is launching the 'Small Business Open Up! 10,000 Won Pay!' event for Osaekjeon users over three days from October 2 to 4 in conjunction with the '2026 LOSO Festival & Osan Small Business Coexistence Festival.'

During the event period, users who accumulate 100,000 won or more in payments at Osaekjeon will receive 10,000 won. Users do not need to spend 100,000 won at once; the cumulative amount used over the four days can be combined to meet the threshold.

The benefit will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to 1,000 recipients, with 10,000 won per person until the budget is exhausted. No separate application is required, and payment details can be verified through the local currency app. The distributed amount will be prioritized for use in the next Osaekjeon transaction.

Not only payments made at Osaekjeon member merchants but also amounts spent at booths set up at the festival venue are included in the event criteria. The city has organized this event to increase Osaekjeon usage among festival visitors and to ensure that spending initiated at the festival venue extends to local shops.

Osan City Mayor Jo Yong-ho stated, "I hope citizens enjoying the festival will receive the Osaekjeon benefits and also visit local small business shops," adding, "I hope this event will be helpful to both citizens and small business owners."
