Yongin City Announces Final Results Registration for Carbon Neutral Points Vehicle Program

Yongin Special City (Mayor Lee Sang-il) announced on the 24th that final results registration for the 'Carbon Neutral Points Vehicle Sector,' overseen by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, will take place from the 28th through October 31st.

\r\n\r\n

The 'Carbon Neutral Points Vehicle Sector' is a program that provides benefits based on greenhouse gas reduction results when drivers reduce vehicle mileage during the program participation period to contribute to emissions reduction.

\r\n\r\n

The reduction rate is calculated by comparing the average daily mileage during the participation period with pre-participation figures, and benefits of 20,000 won to a maximum of 100,000 won are provided based on the reduction results.

\r\n\r\n

Participants must access the Carbon Neutral Points Vehicle website (https://car.cpoint.or.kr/com/main/user/index.do) from September 28th to October 31st to register their final results.

\r\n\r\n

To register results, participants can access the website, upload photos of their vehicle license plate and odometer, enter the mileage, and complete the final confirmation and consent procedures.

\r\n\r\n

If supporting documents are not submitted or the final confirmation and consent procedures are not completed within the deadline, final participation may not be recognized, so participants must complete registration within the specified period.

\r\n\r\n

A 'Program Completion Commemoration Event' will also be held for participants who complete final results registration and receive confirmation text messages.

\r\n\r\n

Participants automatically enter the event if conditions are met without separate application procedures. Through a lottery, 2,000 winners will be selected to receive Onuri digital gift cards worth 5,000 won each. The gift cards will be individually distributed in November.

A city official stated, "The Carbon Neutral Points Vehicle Sector is a program that allows people to participate in reducing greenhouse gas emissions through daily practices such as reducing vehicle mileage, and also receive benefits based on their reduction results," adding, "We hope local participants will complete their final results registration within the deadline to receive the benefits."
