Osan City Designates Traditional Commercial Preservation District...Within 1km of Central Market
Osan City has designated a traditional commercial preservation district within a 1km radius in a straight line from the boundary of the Central Traditional Market in the city.
According to Osan City on the 16th, the city held a Distribution Industry Mutual Development Council meeting and made this decision in accordance with the Distribution Industry Development Act and an ordinance regarding the designation of traditional commercial preservation districts and restrictions on the registration of large-scale and medium-scale stores.
At the same time, the city announced the designation on this day for the expansion of the traditional commercial preservation district reviewed at the Distribution Industry Mutual Development Council meeting.
Accordingly, within a 1km radius from the Central Traditional Market, the establishment of large-scale or medium-scale stores is restricted.
A city official stated, "As the scope of this traditional commercial preservation district is expanded, with restrictions placed on the registration of large-scale and medium-scale store openings, we anticipate it will greatly help in the balanced development of local distribution industries such as traditional markets."
