Osan Youth Support Center Recruiting Applicants for 'Parent Education' Program

The Osan Youth Support Center announced on the 20th that it will hold parent education classes for parents to grow together with their children starting from the 29th at the center's education facility.

The program was designed to help parents who wish to be good role models for their children and who face difficulties in child-rearing to develop their own personal growth and strengthen the relationship between parents and children, as many parents are contemplating effective child-rearing methods.

The program will be operated as a customized course under the theme 'Parents Growing Together with Their Children' to meet the educational needs of citizens.

The curriculum will consist of six sessions including 'Seeing Myself and My Family Again,' 'Understanding My Children,' and 'Developing My Children's Autonomy.' Classes will run from the 29th of this month through April 13th (10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.), with 15 participating parents of children in grades 4 through 8 (elementary school 4th grade to middle school 2nd grade).

The application deadline is the 29th of this month. The tuition fee is 20,000 won (including textbooks), and registration is available by visiting the Osan Youth Support Center or by phone at 031-372-4004.
