Kim Yong-seo: "Will Make Suwon's Traditional Markets Like Seoul's Hongdae Street"

Kim Yong-seo, the Saenuri Party candidate challenging for his third term as Suwon mayor, campaigned throughout the region on the 23rd, the second day of his official election campaign, to secure voters' support.

In particular, Kim visited traditional markets in succession, expressing his commitment to revitalizing traditional markets so that merchants' livelihoods could flourish with renewed vitality.

On the day, Kim visited Culture Mansion in Maegyo-dong in the morning and began a cleanup activity with his campaign staff, and in the afternoon visited Rodeo Street, Jowon Market, and Han-il Town direct transaction marketplace in succession, listening to merchants' concerns.

At his meeting with merchants, Kim said, "For traditional markets to thrive, young people need to visit frequently."

In particular, Kim pledged, "We will focus on revitalizing Rodeo Street and traditional markets in the Suwon area by connecting them with nearby attractions such as the UNESCO World Heritage site Suwon Hwaseong, so they can regain vitality just like Seoul's Hongdae Street."

Kim then visited Paldalju Women's Singing Class held at Namun Department Store, appealing for support in rebuilding a happy 'Happy Suwon' for housewives.
