Suwon Cheoncheon Elementary School opened its after-school and care classrooms to parents for five days.

The school plans to gather written feedback from visiting parents and reflect it in next year's program offerings.

According to Cheoncheon Elementary on the 30th, the school operated the 'Second Semester After-School & Care Programs Open House' from the 26th to the 30th. A total of 191 parents participated.

The school operates 6 customized programs for grades 1-2, 20 after-school programs on a fee-sharing basis, and 6 elementary care classrooms. It also operates the 'RAS (Reading·Arts·Sports)-ON After-School Program,' which Gyeonggi Province Office of Education has prioritized since the second semester.

In some classrooms, parents directly participated in activities. In the 'Total & Miniature' program, while students made models of fruit and vegetable shops, parents made strawberry tarts.

In the badminton program, parents and children competed together.

The school collected observation reports from 164 parents who completed their visits and analyzed them. Satisfaction rates were recorded at 97.4% for customized programs for grades 1-2, 96.0% for fee-sharing after-school programs, and 95.0% for elementary care classrooms.

One parent who participated in the event said, "It was meaningful to directly confirm the environment in which my child is learning joyfully after school and to see the completed works together."

Jung Eun-young, principal of Cheoncheon Elementary, said, "After-school and care programs are an important pillar of education that nurtures children's dreams and aptitudes while reducing parents' childcare burdens. Going forward, we will continue to provide substantial program operations and continuous communication among the school community to create an even safer and more beneficial after-school and care environment."
