Suwon Launches 'Dosirak (City 樂) Market' with Urban Farmers

The Dosirak Market is an event where citizens, urban farmers, and urban agriculture organizations share the value of urban agriculture and the joy of farming. Participants include the Urban Ecosystem Agriculture Network, Suwon Urban Agriculture Expert Association, and the Small Business Association.

The event will feature ▲making healthy dosirak (lunch boxes) using freshly harvested vegetable garden crops ▲direct trade markets for urban farmers and urban agriculture organizations' agricultural products ▲local farmers' promotional, experiential, sales, and food booths to promote urban agriculture ▲busking performances by local artists.

A photo zone will be created using a large inflatable figure of 'Suwon-i,' the city's character, and various events linked to the photo zone will be held.

A Suwon City official said, "The Dosirak Market is an event created together by urban farmers, urban agriculture organizations, and citizens," and added, "We hope visitors will take commemorative photos with the large Suwon-i figure, make dosirak lunch boxes with vegetable garden crops, and create pleasant memories with family and friends."
