Suwon Yeongdeungpo District Urgent Review of City Vision 'Completion of Suwon's Great Transformation'

Suwon Yeongdeungpo District (District Chief Park Sa-seung) held an "October 2026 Enlarged Executive Meeting" at the district office situation room on the 29th and discussed major district administration issues.

At the meeting, based on the contents of the final report session of the Suwon Great Transformation Promotion Team for the 9th elected term held on September 10, the city administration vision "Completion of Suwon's Great Transformation" and major implementation directions were shared. In addition, each department reflected the city administration operation direction in overall district administration, and reviewed relevant matters to enable active utilization in the process of promoting major pending projects.

Yeongdeungpo District placed copies of the 9th elected term city administration four-year plan booklet at each dong administrative welfare center to allow residents easy access.

Meanwhile, publicity plans for major autumn cultural and sports events being promoted for Suwon's Year of Visiting were also discussed. In particular, the Yeongdeungpo District "OntongYeongtong Festival" to be held at Yeonghyung Forest Park on October 30 plans to strengthen citizen participation-centered publicity so that the local festival can establish itself as a venue for resident solidarity and communication.

Park Sa-seung, District Chief of Yeongdeungpo, said, "Please make efforts in publicity so that various autumn events held during Suwon's Year of Visiting can deliver abundant joy and vitality to citizens," and added, "In particular, please do your best in preparation so that our district festival, OntongYeongtong Festival, can be successfully implemented."
