The campaign distributed 1,000 masks and promotional flyers to merchants and citizens at Osaek Market while promoting the importance of mask-wearing and personal hygiene practices.
A city official stated, "We hope citizens will strictly adhere to personal hygiene rules so that the spread of the infection will stop as soon as possible," and urged, "If you experience symptoms, you must promptly report to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Call Center (1339) or Osan City Health Center (031-8036-6055) and visit a designated screening clinic for medical consultation."
