Traffic congestion charges are fees imposed once a year on owners of facilities with a total floor area of 1,000㎡ or more that cause traffic congestion, applying the principle that the originator bears the cost.

The district reduced this year's traffic congestion charges by 30% to ease the economic burden on small business owners, self-employed workers, and companies facing difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, the district sent a notice about cooperation with a 'good faith rent reduction campaign' that lowers storefront rents to facility owners, urging their participation.

Traffic congestion charges can be paid from the 16th to the 31st of this month through nearby banks, virtual accounts, ARS (1899-7500), or credit cards.
