[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] On the 23rd, Uiwang City Mayor Kim Sang-don, National Assemblyman Lee So-young, and Korea Electric Power Corporation President Kim Jong-gap signed an agreement on 'Creating Safe and Clean Streets' to improve the urban environment in Uiwang City.
Through the agreement signed on that day, the three organizations pledged to implement detailed agreement terms related to △promoting renewable energy △improving Uiwang City's urban environment △and establishing child safety infrastructure around schools.
The agreement included undergrounding utility poles and transmission towers in the Naeson-dong redevelopment release zone in Uiwang City, and installing yellow safety zones on crosswalks near an alternative school.
