Osan City Concludes '2024 Osan! Fresh Osan Stream Barefoot & Walking Festival'

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Lee Soo-won] The '2024 Osan! Fresh Osan Stream Barefoot · Walking Festival' held by Osan City on June 15th at the Osan Stream area concluded successfully with approximately 2,000 citizens in attendance.

The walking festival on that day was planned by Osan City and the Osan City Sports Association (President Kwon Byung-gyu) as a Gyeonggi Province Sports Promotion Grant Project to promote citizens' health and foster unity.

The event provided snacks to participants and also held promotional activities by Osan City civic organizations, pre-event performances by elite athletes from various sports organizations, and prize drawings, bringing joy to citizens.

Osan Mayor Lee Kwon-jae said in his congratulatory remarks, "We are also constructing a clay path so that Osan Stream can establish itself as a recreational space for citizens," and added, "We hope for the keen interest and utilization of all our citizens."
