Hammer & Armor Co., Ltd. and Suwon Saemaul Mungo Donate Scholarship Funds to Suwon Scholarship Foundation

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] Hammer & Armor Co., Ltd. donated 10 million won in scholarship funds, and Suwon Saemaul Mungo donated 4 million won in scholarship funds to the Suwon Scholarship Foundation.

Yoon Sam-yeol, CEO of Hammer & Armor Co., Ltd., and Lee Jong-seon, chairman of Suwon Saemaul Mungo, visited Suwon City Hall on the 10th and delivered the donations.

The donation ceremony was attended by Lee Jae-jun, Mayor of Suwon Special City, Yoon Sam-yeol, CEO, Choi Woo-young, Executive Managing Director, Lee Jong-seon, Chairman, Park Chun-geun, Chairman of Suwon Scholarship Foundation, and Noh Su-yong, Secretary General, among others.

Yoon Sam-yeol, CEO of Hammer & Armor Co., Ltd., said, "As a physician and researcher, I believe it is my role to share the benefits I have received from society," and added, "I hope this becomes a small help for students to focus on their studies and pursue their dreams."

Lee Jong-seon, Chairman of Suwon Saemaul Mungo, stated, "It is very meaningful to be able to donate the proceeds collected from recent bazaars to the scholarship foundation," and expressed, "I hope this becomes a small stepping stone for young people to continue their studies and pursue their dreams."

Park Chun-geun, Chairman of Suwon Scholarship Foundation, said, "I deeply appreciate the positive influence of the local community and businesses working together to nurture talented individuals," and continued, "We will cherish the donors' intentions, provide more opportunities for students, and share the results with the local community."

Mayor Lee Jae-jun of Suwon stated, "Thank you for contributing to the development of Suwon education through consistent sharing every year," and added, "Suwon City will provide steady support so that children can realize their dreams."

The Suwon Scholarship Foundation is a city-funded organization established in 2006 that operates scholarship support programs to discover and nurture local talent. To date, it has provided scholarships totaling 11.724 billion won to 13,561 elementary, middle, high school, and university students.
