Songsan 2-dong, Uijeongbu to Operate On-Site Civil Service Center for 'Geumgang Pentarium 4 Complex'
The Administrative Welfare Center of Songsan 2-dong in Uijeongbu City will operate a mobile civil service center for residents of Geumgang Pentarium 4 Complex in the Minlak 2 District from January 2 to 13 for two weeks.
Geumgang Pentarium 4 Complex began move-ins on December 30 with a total of 716 households scheduled to move in. An on-site civil service center will be established within the apartment management office, staffed by two civil service officials and a civil service information assistant (neighborhood chief). The center plans to provide essential services to residents including change of address registration, confirmation date issuance, and residential registration certificates and transcripts.
Operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding lunch hours. For change of address registration, residents must visit with their household ID and present identification; for confirmation date issuance, they should bring original lease or monthly rental contracts and can have them processed immediately.
The mobile civil service center is being operated to welcome residents moving to Songsan 2-dong and to accommodate the convenience of apartment residents in the Minlak 2 District who would otherwise need to visit a distant administrative office for change of address registration while busy with move-in procedures.
Last year, the center was operated for Yongam Village 13 Complex and Hu-Story 2 Complex, receiving strong positive response from residents. The city plans to expand operations this year to apartment complexes expecting concentrated move-ins in the second half.
Lee Young-jae, Director of Civil Matters at Songsan 2-dong, stated, "At this on-site civil service center, in addition to civil service, we will provide residents with a sense of belonging as members of Songsan 2-dong and help them settle in well by offering information about major facilities in the district, neighborhood maps, various living information, and tool rental services so residents can receive diverse and useful information."
