Pyeongtaek Enforces Administrative Collection of Illegal Advertisements in Sosabul District

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Pyeongtaek City conducted administrative collection of illegal advertisements (air lights) in commercial zones within the Sosabul Land Development District on the 22nd, working alongside 15 members including the Pyeongtaek Outdoor Advertising Association and Sosabul Merchants Association.

Prior to the enforcement, 12 cases that were not removed even after the notice period expired were targeted, out of 34 air light cases for which warning notices had been issued.

Air lights damage urban aesthetics and threaten pedestrian safety with cluttered electrical wires. Under the Outdoor Advertising Act, they cannot be registered or permitted.
