Jangan-gu Holds Briefing on Non-Tax Revenue Delinquency Collection Measures

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Jangan-gu, Suwon (District Chief Lee Byeong-gyu) held a briefing on non-tax revenue delinquency collection measures for the second half of 2019 on the 23rd.

At the briefing, each department in charge of non-tax revenue reviewed implementation progress and shared efficient collection methods between departments, with the goal of making all-out efforts to minimize delinquent amounts this year.

The district is implementing collection measures including securing receivables and asset seizure, linking non-tax revenue delinquents to local tax refunds for collection, and freezing financial assets for effective non-tax revenue delinquency collection. Additionally, it sends collection notices and asset seizure warning text messages to one-time small-amount delinquents.

District Chief Lee Byeong-gyu urged, “Please do your best to ensure that delinquent amounts occurring in the current year can be collected by the end of the year.”
