[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] The Suwon Sustainable City Foundation will hold a briefing session for the '2020 Suwon Sustainable City Foundation Resident Proposal Contest' from the 4th to 7th of next month.

The briefing sessions will be held at 2 p.m. on ▲the 4th (6th floor conference room of Jangan-gu Office) ▲the 5th (2nd floor conference room of Gwonseon-gu Office) ▲the 6th (3rd floor conference room of Paldal-gu Office) ▲the 7th (2nd floor conference room of Yeongtong-gu Office).

The session will provide guidance on support details, methods, procedures, and accounting standards related to the project. Any Suwon citizen interested in the project may attend. For communities wishing to participate, on-site consulting will be provided in addition to a question-and-answer session.

The '2020 Suwon Sustainable City Foundation Resident Proposal Contest' is a project to solicit resident proposals needed to support local community activities carried out by the Suwon Sustainable City Foundation, with a budget of 270 million won. The foundation plans to provide support ranging from 1 million won to a maximum of 10 million won per project.

Organizations and groups whose activities are aimed at community initiatives in the village, water environment, and media fields may submit proposals. Applications will be accepted until the 21st of next month.

Resident groups and organizations within the region wishing to participate can download application forms from the foundation's website (www.sscf2016.or.kr) and submit them. Depending on the project category, applications should be submitted to the Village Renaissance Center (2nd floor of Daham Park) for village projects, the Water Environment Center (2nd floor of Daham Park) for water environment projects, and the Media Center (B1 floor of Suwon Youth Culture Center) for media projects.
