Emart Traders Suwon Branch (Youngtong-gu, Suwon), which was confirmed to have been visited by Suwon's 14th confirmed patient on the 28th of last month, announced it will resume normal operations from the 4th after undergoing complete disinfection.

Suwon's 14th confirmed patient is an 11-year-old elementary school girl residing in Mangpo 1-dong. She is believed to have been infected from Hwaseong's 2nd confirmed patient at Saengmyeongsaem Church in Mangpo-dong on the 23rd of last month.

The confirmed patient visited Emart Traders Suwon Branch by guardian vehicle on the 28th of last month and stayed for approximately 2 hours from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fortunately, there were no employees with close contact.

After receiving notification of the confirmed patient's visit, Emart Traders Suwon Branch closed at 1 p.m. on the 3rd and conducted disinfection by Youngtong-gu Health Center and self-disinfection. After confirming safety from health authorities, it has been operating normally from the 4th.

An official at the branch said, "We were very worried about having to keep the doors closed," and added, "We received notification from health authorities that there were no employees in contact with the confirmed patient, and we are pleased to be operating normally after undergoing thorough disinfection."
