Jangan-gu Opens Public Recruitment for 'Urban Forest Coordinators' from 6th to 16th
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Jangan-gu will open public recruitment for 'Urban Forest Coordinators' from the 6th to the 16th.
The public recruitment is being promoted as part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's public job creation project. Selected coordinators will perform tasks including landscape management, environmental sanitation, and small-scale planting of urban forests such as street trees, linear green spaces, pocket parks, and school forests.
Applicants must be retirees aged 50 or older and under 70 years old residing in Suwon and adjacent cities and counties (Uiwang, Yongin, Hwaseong, Ansan), and must possess certificates of engineer or higher level in landscaping, forestry, horticulture (floriculture), plant protection, or ecology, or have at least five years of work experience in related fields. In particular, those whose current resident registration is listed in Suwon or who hold a Class 1 ordinary driver's license will be given preferential selection. Applications can only be submitted in person at the district office.
Working conditions include 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, with an hourly wage of 10,150 won. The work period runs from the 1st of next month through November 30th. Final selection will be made through first-stage document screening and second-stage interviews.
