Gwonseon-gu Opens Nature Experience Forest Playground for Children at Sanulrim Park

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Gwonseon-gu in Suwon announced on the 9th that it has completed construction of the 'Sanulrim Park Nature Experience Forest Playground,' a space where children can freely play in nature, and has opened it to the public this month.

The Nature Experience Forest Playground at Sanulrim Park, located in Geumok-dong, Gwonseon-gu, features ▲nature observation play spaces including a natural learning center ▲an insect house ▲ziplines and rope swings, which are favorites among children.

In response to the recent spread of COVID-19 infections in the Seoul metropolitan area, disinfection of the forest playground facilities is being conducted at least twice daily, in the morning and afternoon, to ensure that children can use the facilities with peace of mind.

An official from the district said, "Anyone who wants to enjoy play facilities along with nature can use the space," and added, "We will develop the Sanulrim Park Nature Experience Forest Playground into a space where citizens can find comfort and peace of mind, even if only briefly."
