Pyeongtaek City Implements Environmental Doctor Program to Support Small-Scale Emission Facilities
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Pyeongtaek City announced on the 2nd that it implemented the "Environmental Doctor Program" (guidance on pollutant management methods jointly conducted with environmental specialist technicians in the city) from the 23rd to the 30th of last month to support small-scale emission facilities and businesses subject to frequent civil complaints.
For this purpose, the city visited a total of 16 businesses with six environmental specialist technicians working within the city and provided guidance on efficient methods for processing pollutants.
The "Environmental Doctor Program" has provided technical support for process and facility improvements to a total of 46 businesses from 2018 through this year, targeting businesses experiencing difficulties with environmental management.
