Osan City Supports Job-Seeking Youth with 'Youth Interview Success Package'
[Suwon Ilbo=Lee Su-won, Reporter] Osan City announced on the 21st that it will implement the 'Youth Interview Success Package Project' to reduce the financial burden on young job seekers and strengthen employment support.
This project, which expands the existing 'Youth Interview Success Support Set Project' that has been operated since 2021, provides support for the entire interview process from preparation to post-interview management.
In the interview preparation stage, young people can receive consultation on specific job search strategies through career counselors at the Youth Employment Support Center and the 'Interview Consulting and Employment Academy,' and can have their resumes and cover letters reviewed.
In the interview execution stage, which is part of the existing Youth Interview Success Support Set Project, support is provided for △free interview suit rental △resume photography △hair and makeup for interviews or photo shoots △exam and certification textbook fees, among others.
In the post-interview management stage, the city will provide congratulatory happy call services to successful job seekers and continue to provide customized employment-related information even to those who are rejected.
Additionally, the city plans to increase the rental frequency of 'interview suit rental,' which has been receiving strong response from job-seeking youth, and expand accessibility.
Starting this year, the annual rental frequency will increase from the existing three times to five times, and one additional interview suit rental business located in Byeongjeom, Hwaseong City, in the nearby area will be added.
Eligible applicants are youth aged 19 to 39 who have an address in Osan City and are registered as job seekers on the Ministry of Employment and Labor's WorkNet.
Youth interested in applying can submit applications for the Youth Interview Success Support Set through the Gyeonggi Province Job Support Project integrated application system, or for interview consulting and employment academy through the Youth Employment Support Center's IruJab blog.
