Yeoju Volunteer Center Dedicates Efforts to Flood Recovery in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam Province

[Suwon Ilbo=Um In-yong Reporter] The Yeoju Volunteer Center (Director Park Eun-young) has taken action to support recovery efforts at flood-damaged sites in Nonsan City, Chungcheongnam Province, which suffered significant damage from recent torrential rains.

In this recovery support effort, more than 40 members from across Yeoju City, led by Director Park Eun-young, participated in supporting restoration work for affected farms, including debris removal on site.

Park Eun-young, director of the Yeoju Volunteer Center, said, "I hope the flood recovery in Nonsan City is achieved as soon as possible and returns to normalcy," and added, "We will continue to participate in support of volunteer activities in Yeoju City."

Yi Chung-woo, Mayor of Yeoju City, stated, "I hope this flood recovery activity helps Nonsan City, Chungcheongnam Province, even if only a little," and said, "Despite the extremely hot weather, I extend my sincere gratitude to all the volunteers who worked so hard."
