[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Kim Chung-young] Uiwang City held the opening ceremony for the 'Baekun Mountain Pine Forest Clay Trail' on the 22nd at the Baekun Mountain bus temporary stop.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mayor Kim Seong-je of Uiwang City, provincial and city council members, civic organizations, and approximately 100 local residents, with ribbon cutting and a walking tour of the clay trail among the scheduled events.
The Baekun Mountain Pine Forest Clay Trail was created as a circular route with a total investment of 300 million won, spanning 305 meters in length and 2-4 meters in width. The trail allows visitors to experience nature under the shade of existing trees while walking on the clay path.
Mayor Kim Seong-je of Uiwang City said, "I hope many citizens will spend healthy and happy times walking the clay trail in nature," and added, "I will continue to make greater efforts to promote walking exercises in daily life and improve citizens' health."
