Dongbu Entech Donates 10 Million Won Scholarship to Anyang City Talent Development Foundation

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Yu Je-sung] Dongbu Entech (CEO Hong Moon-ki) donated 10 million won in scholarships to the Anyang City Talent Development Foundation on the 29th to foster local talent.

The Anyang City Talent Development Foundation (Chairman Choi Dae-ho) held a scholarship donation ceremony on the day to share the meaning of giving with the local community.

The ceremony was attended by Chairman Choi Dae-ho, foundation and city officials, Dongbu Entech CEO Hong Moon-ki, Executive Vice President Kim Dong-hwan, Head Lee Seung-hun, and Anyang Resource Recovery Facility Director Jung Hae-woon.

Following donations in 2023 and 2024, Dongbu Entech has again contributed a scholarship this year, maintaining its relationship with the foundation through three consecutive donations. The 10 million won donated this year will be used as hope scholarships by the foundation to support local students who are dedicated to their studies despite economic hardships.

Meanwhile, Dongbu Entech is an eco-friendly leading company providing high-quality services in environmental energy projects, industrial environmental facility construction, and specialized construction sectors. The company is responsible for the design, construction, and operation of 12 resource recovery facilities for household waste, including the Anyang City Resource Recovery Facility.

Dongbu Entech CEO Hong Moon-ki stated, “We continue to make donations to help the next generation develop their dreams in a stable environment.”

Chairman Choi Dae-ho said, “We deeply appreciate Dongbu Entech for consistently supporting local talent over the years,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure that the donated scholarships are meaningfully used as hope scholarships.”
