Yang Hyang-ja, Supreme Council Member of People Power Party, "2030 Gyeonggi Province: The Thriving Heart of Strong and Prosperous Korea"

[Suwon Ilbo=Um In-yong Reporter] Yang Hyang-ja, Supreme Council Member of the People Power Party, will hold a "special closed-door lecture" on the theme of "2030 Gyeonggi Province" at the National Assembly Members' Conference Hall at 2:30 p.m. on March 3rd.

Supreme Council Member Yang stated, "I came to Gyeonggi Province barefoot at eighteen, and for forty years, I have watched the rise and fall of cities in Gyeonggi Province." She added, "Cities that chose cutting-edge industries, future industries, and new industries attracted young people and accumulated opportunities, while cities that remained in declining industries, obsolete industries, and old industries saw jobs and people leave."

She also said, "The vision of Gyeonggi Province in 2030, the year when the 2030 generation will live, and the answer to that—'2030 Gyeonggi Province' is the book containing it." She continued, "I want to share strategies to make Gyeonggi Province the heart of Korea and set it beating again."

Meanwhile, the event is being prepared as a pre-event for a special lecture by select invitees (at 2:30 p.m.) in a closed-door format, and it is expected to be a venue where people concerned about Korea's future will discuss policies.
