Osan City Completes Mailing of Application Notices to Non-Applicants for High Oil Price Damage Relief Fund

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Kim Gap-dong] Ahead of the application deadline (July 3) for the high oil price damage relief fund, Osan City announced on the 14th that it has completed mailing application guidance notices to non-applicant citizens in a final push to encourage applications.

The city currently has a payment rate of 96% for the high oil price damage relief fund and has completed sending 6,302 application guidance notices to 8,560 citizens who have not yet applied. Households in the same family unit were consolidated into a single mailing to enhance administrative efficiency.

The guidance notices include key information necessary for applying for the relief fund, including the application deadline, application method, usage deadline, and usable venues. The notices were organized so that eligible citizens could confirm application procedures and precautions at a glance to avoid missing out on support benefits.

Sixteen auxiliary staff members from the high oil price damage relief fund task force team and payment centers at each dong participated in the mailing process to support rapid distribution.

Along with the mailing, the city is implementing customized promotional activities by target group. For non-applicant foreign residents, promotional materials are being distributed to agencies with high usage by foreign residents, such as family centers and immigrant happiness centers, while door-to-door application services are being provided for elderly citizens and those with mobility difficulties.

After the mailing, the city plans to continue monitoring non-applicant status and collaborate with administrative welfare centers at each dong to conduct field-centered promotions, including guidance visits by neighborhood leaders.

Meanwhile, the high oil price damage relief fund can be applied for until July 3, and the relief funds received must be used by August 31.
