Osan City Completes Mailing of Application Notices for Non-Applicants of High Oil Price Damage Relief Fund

[Suwon Ilbo=Kim Gap-dong] Osan City announced on the 14th that it has completed mailing application notices to non-applicants ahead of the high oil price damage relief fund application deadline (July 3), in a final push to encourage applications.

The city, which has currently achieved a 96% payment rate for the high oil price damage relief fund, completed sending 6,302 application notices to 8,560 citizens who have not yet applied. Application notices from the same household were consolidated into a single mailing to enhance administrative efficiency.

The notices include key information necessary for applying for the relief fund, including the application deadline, application methods, usage deadline, and places where the funds can be used. The notices were organized so that eligible citizens could check the application procedures and precautions at a glance to ensure they do not miss out on the support benefits.

The mailing operation involved 16 assistant staff members from the high oil price damage relief fund task force team and each district payment office who support field civil service operations, ensuring prompt delivery.

Alongside the mailing, the city is also conducting customized promotional campaigns targeting specific groups. For non-applicant foreign residents, promotional materials are being distributed to institutions frequently used by foreign residents such as the Family Center and the Happy Immigrant Center, and on-site application services are being provided to elderly citizens and those with mobility difficulties.

Following the mailing, the city plans to continue managing the status of non-applicants and work with each district administrative welfare center to conduct field-based promotional activities such as visits from community leaders providing guidance.

Meanwhile, applications for the high oil price damage relief fund can be submitted until July 3, and the relief funds must be used by August 31.
