The Suwon Saebbit Senior Health Bus is an initiative that establishes a public-private partnership framework operated by Suwon Special City, the Space and Sharing Association, and the Korean Heart Rhythm Society to provide visiting health services to elderly residents by making rounds to senior centers and welfare facilities.
Elderly residents can receive services including eye disease examinations, musculoskeletal assessments, strength tests, and mental health screenings on the Suwon Saebbit Senior Health Bus. Dementia screening tests can also be coordinated and conducted as needed.
Based on examination results, high-risk groups are identified and connected with appropriate health services including customized health counseling, cataract surgery cost support, and regional public health projects.
Through the operation of the Suwon Saebbit Senior Health Bus based on public-private cooperation, the city plans to establish an integrated health management system that connects examination, screening, counseling, and service linkage.
