The Suwon Saebbit Elderly Health Bus is a project in which Suwon Special City, the Space and Sharing Association, and the Korean Heart Rhythm Society have established a public-private collaboration system to operate the bus, visiting senior centers and welfare facilities to provide mobile health services to elderly residents.
Elderly residents can receive services on the Suwon Saebbit Elderly Health Bus including eye disease screening, musculoskeletal examination, muscle strength testing, and mental health screening. Dementia screening can be coordinated as needed.
Based on examination results, high-risk groups are identified and connected to customized health counseling, cataract surgery subsidies, and appropriate health services through regional health initiatives.
Through the operation of the Suwon Saeblit Elderly Health Bus based on public-private collaboration, a comprehensive health management system is planned to be established connecting examination, screening, counseling, and service coordination.
