Route 7900 from Jangan to Seoul Station Begins Service; Congressman Boards First Morning Bus

Congressman Lee Chan-yeol (Jangan-gu) announced that he boarded the first service of Route 7900, a wide-area bus that departed from Homaesil at 5:10 a.m. on February 29, running through Jeongja and Cheoncheon districts before reaching Seoul Station for the first time.

Route 7900 is a line that runs from Suwon's Homaesil district through Jangan-gu's Jeongja and Cheoncheon districts to Seoul Station and Gwanghwamun, marking the first wide-area bus route directly connecting Suwon's Jangan-gu with northern Seoul.

Congressman Lee stated, "At the National Assembly's Committee on Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, I strongly advocated for the necessity of a route connecting Suwon's Jangan-gu with northern Seoul, which led to a positive response from the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs."

He added, "I am pleased to have played a role in establishing this new route that directly connects Suwon's Jangan district to Seoul Station and Gwanghwamun," and expressed his commitment: "I will improve the public transportation system in Jangan-gu through adjustments to bus intervals and increases in wide-area bus service, creating a more convenient and faster Jangan-gu with better accessibility."
