Suwon Expands Detailed Address System to Universities and Hospitals

Suwon City is expanding the detailed address system, which has been assigned to one-room apartments and multi-family houses since last year, to educational research facilities, hospitals, factories, and other buildings.

According to the city on the 17th, currently when multiple buildings form a single group, such as universities, public buildings, hospitals, and factories, a single road name address has been assigned to the entire building complex without detailed addresses.

This has caused problems such as delays in mail delivery because buildings, floors, and units cannot be recorded in the building registry, and difficulties in identifying locations during emergencies.

Owners or tenants of building complexes can apply for detailed addresses by visiting the City Hall's Land Information Division (031-228-3355), by mail, or through the government's online civil complaint portal '민원24'.
