Yongin Wins Grand Prize in Gyeonggi Province Housing Administration Evaluation

Yongin City won the Grand Prize in the '2014 Gyeonggi Province Housing Administration Excellence Evaluation for Cities and Counties.'

The Gyeonggi Province Housing Administration Evaluation is conducted annually to inspect the housing administration status of cities and counties within the province, enhance trust in housing administration, and promote public convenience.

Yongin City, which received the Grand Prize this year, earned high scores by implementing projects such as 'weekend farm partnership initiatives' to activate multiplex housing community activities and 'excellent management office director certification system.'

Namyangju City and Suwon City were selected for the Excellence Award, while Gwangmyeong City and Siheung City received the Superior Award.

The province stated that it discovered various policy initiatives through this evaluation, including operation of visiting counseling centers and multiplex housing websites.

A provincial official said, "Going forward, the province will continue to improve evaluation criteria based on field conditions and discover and promote excellent policies tailored to the circumstances of each city and county."
