Kang Deuk-gu, Provincial Assembly Chair: "We Will Strengthen Support for Kaesong Industrial Complex Businesses"

Kang Deuk-gu, chair of the Gyeonggi Province Provincial Assembly, attended the opening ceremony of the Kaesong Peace Nuri Premium Pavilion held at KINTEX in Goyang on the 17th and said, "The Gyeonggi Province Provincial Assembly and Gyeonggi Province will make greater efforts to support Kaesong Industrial Complex businesses."

At the opening ceremony, Chair Kang stated, "The ordinance bill for supporting Kaesong Industrial Complex businesses will soon pass the plenary session."

In this regard, the 'Ordinance Bill on Support for Local Businesses in Gyeonggi Province Kaesong Industrial Zone,' sponsored by Rep. Kim Young-hwan (Goyang District 7), passed the Committee on Economy, Science and Technology on the 9th and is awaiting plenary deliberation.

Chair Kang encouraged business representatives by saying, "The people involved with Kaesong Industrial Complex businesses are at the front line of inter-Korean exchange and inter-Korean harmony," and "When the resident businesses do well, peace on the Korean Peninsula and unification can come faster."

Attending the opening ceremony were Chair Kang Deuk-gu from the Gyeonggi Province Provincial Assembly, along with Lee Dong-hwa (Pyeongtaek District 4), chair of the Committee on Economy, Science and Technology, and Reps. Kim Young-hwan and Kim Jun-hyeon (Gimpo District 2).
