Suwon Municipal Art Museum Offers Free Exhibition and Lunch Concert for October 'Culture Day'

Suwon Municipal Art Museum in Gyeonggi Province announced it will offer free exhibition viewing and musical performances for October's 'Culture Day.'
On October 7, a 'Lunch Concert' will be held in the lobby of the Haenggung main building at Suwon Municipal Art Museum, featuring pianist Kang Jae-hun and bassist Park Jin-gyo. Anyone can attend on-site without prior reservation.
The concert was planned to allow nearby office workers and citizens to enjoy cultural activities during their lunch break without burden. Jazz selections befitting the autumn season will be performed.
Kang Jae-hun became the first Korean to earn a master's degree in jazz from the Juilliard School in the United States. Park Jin-gyo studied under Ron Carter, a master of jazz bass.
The art museum has been expanding the 'Culture Day' benefits to every Wednesday since April. This concert was organized in collaboration with local cultural organization 'Padak Padak Club.'
Oh Min-beom, director of Suwon Municipal Art Museum, said, "I hope citizens will spend time gaining rest and artistic inspiration amid their busy daily lives."
