2020 Suwon Hwaseong Culture Festival Steering Committee Recruiting Second-Term Members
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Suwon City announced on the 27th that it is recruiting second-term members for a steering committee to prepare for the October Suwon Hwaseong Culture Festival.
The city plans to appoint up to 20 members per division across four divisions: the Planning and Public Relations Division (developing citizen participation activation strategies, promoting citizen participation activities), the Community Participation Division (proposing and operating community resident participation projects), the Monitoring Division (gathering citizen ideas, conducting citizen evaluation panel activities), and the Volunteer Division (event guidance, volunteer activities including maintaining safety and order, etc.).
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a household registration address in Suwon or work at an institution or business location in Suwon City. Applicants must be able to actively participate in all Suwon Hwaseong Culture Festival and committee schedules and be able to engage in social contribution activities such as talent donation for the development of the Suwon Hwaseong Culture Festival.
Those wishing to participate may apply from 9 a.m. on April 28 to 6 p.m. on May 11 by clicking the link on the announcement posted on the Suwon City homepage (www.suwon.go.kr) 'Suwon News → Announcements/Notices/Legislative Notice' and submitting an application form.
The city plans to select members through document screening after forming a separate selection committee and notify selected candidates individually via text message in May. Unselected applicants will not be notified separately.
