Yeongdeungpo District Conducts Comprehensive Safety Inspections of Winter Construction Sites Through the 29th

[Suwon Ilbo=Correspondent Seo Dong-young] Yeongdeungpo District of Suwon will conduct comprehensive field inspections of construction sites through the 29th to prevent safety accidents during the winter season.

The inspection covers 29 construction sites with approved commencement notices. Key inspection items include ▲ensuring pedestrian safety by checking for unauthorized soil runoff on roadsides and unauthorized material placement ▲verification of safety fencing and construction signage installation ▲safety measures for slopes and underground excavation sites.

The district inspection team will visit construction sites starting from the 9th to conduct safety checks. Minor issues will be corrected and addressed on-site immediately through guidance and measures. When risk factors are discovered, the construction-related parties will be ordered to make corrections and conduct repairs and reinforcement promptly, with flagged matters to be managed with particular attention.

A district official said, "We will spare no effort in inspections to prevent winter safety accidents in advance and will maintain continuous oversight and supervision."
