[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Kim Gab-dong] Catholic University St. Vincent's Hospital Health Promotion Center completes full remodeling and reopens on the 23rd.

St. Vincent's Hospital Health Promotion Center (Director Prof. Kang Sung-gu, Department of Family Medicine) is improving its spaces, equipment, testing systems, and overall health checkup programs, and is committed to presenting optimal health checkup experiences and more advanced health checkup services as a lifelong partner in health management for customers.

First, the Health Promotion Center has completely reorganized its spaces so customers can receive health checkups in a more comfortable and relaxed environment. It has newly established a women's medical examination room with privacy considerations, VIP rooms, and separated external and internal waiting areas to create a more pleasant environment. The checkup flow has also been optimized to reduce unnecessary movement and waiting time, improving convenience.

In addition, it introduced the latest premium CT equipment from General Electric, the 'Revolution APEX Elite,' to enhance safety and diagnostic accuracy. The 'Revolution APEX Elite' is a state-of-the-art device with high-resolution imaging, low radiation dose, and fast scanning speed, offering the advantage of more accurately identifying areas requiring detailed examination such as the heart and blood vessels.

Along with this, a new smart testing system with cutting-edge digital healthcare technology has been introduced. AI-based retinal vessel examination and smart electrocardiography (ECG) testing have been newly adopted, making it possible to predict the risk of cardiovascular disease and arrhythmia (atrial fibrillation) through simple retinal and ECG tests alone. The AI result system allows customers to understand test results more easily and intuitively.

Furthermore, wristbands with RFID-based smart system technology allow customers to check examination waiting status and movement guidance at a glance, significantly reducing fatigue felt during the checkup process and enabling a comfortable health checkup experience.

The checkup programs have also been significantly enhanced. In addition to existing gender/age/risk factor-based checkup programs, various specialized programs have been provided, including △dementia-specialized checkup for early detection of dementia △cardiovascular precision checkup including coronary artery CT △MRI-based spine precision checkup △afternoon gastrointestinal checkup for office workers, enabling customized health checkups tailored to each customer.

Additionally, when health risk factors or abnormal findings are discovered in health checkup results, the center supports customers to quickly connect with outpatient services without separate referral forms, enabling additional consultation and treatment. The plan is to help health checkups lead not just to testing but to early disease detection and prevention.

Prof. Kang Sung-gu, Director of the Health Promotion Center (Department of Family Medicine), stated, "Through this remodeling reopening, we will provide a new health checkup experience through clean and comfortable spaces, state-of-the-art examination equipment, testing systems with smart technology applied, and enhanced checkup programs," and added, "Every moment customers receive a checkup, we will do our best with the mind of thinking of our family's health."

Meanwhile, inquiries and reservations for St. Vincent's Hospital Health Promotion Center checkups can be made through the main phone number 1577-8588.
