Osan City to Hold 'Osan Beauty-Fresh Festival' from the 21st

Osan City will hold the Beauty Fresh Festival (2011 Osan Beauty-Fresh Festival) at City Hall Plaza for three days starting from the 21st.

The city, which is promoting Beauty as a city brand initiative, plans to use this event to highlight Osan as a city favorable for business and attract beauty industry companies to the city's industrial parks.

The event, being held for the first time this year, will feature approximately 50 companies across various sectors, including 9 renowned cosmetics companies such as Amorepacific, Nadri, Somang, and Lafenn, 7 fashion companies including Crocodile and Chartreux, and companies in beauty massage, skincare, handicrafts, and related fields.

During the event, 6 organizations and universities including the Skincare Specialists Association, fashion hand painting, handicrafts, beauticians, and Osan University will participate and conduct diverse experiential activities such as natural cosmetics making and beauty painting.

In addition, the Korean Professional Nail Association, Makeup Specialists Professional Exchange Association, Scalp Association, Handicrafts Association, and Osan University will hold exhibitions in their respective fields including nail art, makeup, hair art, flower art, and crystal flowers.

Starting with an opening performance on the first day of the event, three days of diverse cultural performances will follow, including body painting shows, beauty concerts, fashion shows, hair art shows, band performances, star auditions, and beauty rock festivals.

The city will sell donated items from approximately 50 participating companies through auction, with all proceeds used to help disadvantaged members of the community.
